3 FREE THINGS TO TRY

During these strange and trying times, many a musician, producer, Dj etc. like you or I are now trapped within the confines of our various homes or studio spaces. There has never been a better time to practice or learn a new skill, and add more to your professional arsenal. So with that in mind here is a list of super neat things you can take advantage of right now!

1. BERKLEE COLLEGE OF MUSIC - FREE ABLETON LIVE COURSE

Right now Berklee is offering a free fundamentals course ( 4-weeks) that covers some really key knowledge for all levels of user. This is taught by some of their very talented faculty.

2. FILTER STEP - VST

Though this one is normally free it deserves some attention. A really cool sequenced filter effect that works on most DAWs. This company even has a section of free files, show them some love and give this try!

3. ABLETON LIVE 10 SUITE- 90 DAY LICENSE

Ableton live is one of the most versatile and recognizable DAWs out there. From recording to live performance and beyond, producers (myself included) the world over have been creating with this powerful software for better part of the last decade, cementing its place in the music world. Right now the wonderful people over at Ableton have made the full Suite version (which is absolutely massive) of this software available for 90 days, imagine all you can create isolated at home for 90 days.
